The Museum Collection ... " In Conversation with painter Marcus C. Thomas" at The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art in St. Petersburg, FL was held on on November 16, 2024. You still have time to see the exhibit. It will be hanging until January 5, 2025.

We are sharing some of the photos from the event for those who were not able to attend. It was a lot of fun and we are so grateful to our many friends and patrons who attended. Please enjoy the photos.

We cannot thank The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art enough for creating such a special show, believing in Marcus and his work. To be included amongst some of the most famous wildlife and western artists of our time is awe inspiring. A BIG Thank You to Mark & Marianne Mahaffey for sponsoring this event.

A very special Thank You to our good friends, Holger & Deanna Gleim for hosting our after party at The Hangar Restaurant & Flight Lounge in St. Petersuburg, FL. Broken elevator and all we made it work. Enjoyed by all. You are THE BEST.

Another big THANKS to our friend Dan Thorpe. Dan managed to drive from Fort Myers, FL to our home in Weaverille, NC between the storms Helene & Milton to pick up the artwork. Our region of Western North Carolina was severely damaged by Helene. We were not sure if we would be able to get the artwork to St. Petersburg, but as Dan said, " The show must go on" and indeed it did. Thanks Dan.

Framing would not have been possible due to the storms, but artist and exquisite framer Mark Henry managed to create one of a kind frames all the while taking care of storm damage at his home and his neighbors. A valiant effort indeed.

Thank you to Mark & Marianne Mahaffey as well as Sal & Allison Quatrocchhi for letting the museum borrow a few of their pieces of artwork. We sincerely appreciate. You will ge the pieces back, eventually. ::)))
